Employment Type: Part-time, 10–15 hrs/week, Monday–Friday 


Location: Midtown Kingston, NY (Hybrid — primarily in-person, some remote flexibility with approval) 


Pay: Starting rate is $21/hour

About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated person to run day-to-day studio operations and order fulfillment — someone who can own the process from stock arriving in the studio to orders heading out the door. You'll work closely with Mel to keep our wholesale and direct-to-consumer operations running smoothly week to week, and you'll be the friendly, reliable voice our retail partners hear from most.

This is a great fit for someone who loves fine-tuning systems, wants to grow alongside a small brand, and enjoys the mix of hands-on physical work (packing, organizing, counting) and communication (retailer emails, order coordination).

What You'll Do
Fulfillment & Inventory
* Receive incoming stock and check it in against orders
* Pick, pack, and ship direct-to-consumer and wholesale orders accurately and on time
* Conduct regular inventory counts
* Keep the studio clean, organized, and set up for efficient fulfillment
Retailer & Wholesale Communication
* Correspond directly with our wholesale retailers via email — order confirmations, timelines, questions, and general relationship upkeep.
* Help keep retailer-facing records and order info current in our software.
* Follow up with retailers for re-orders
* Help reach out to new leads and prospective retail partners.
Systems & Operations
* Process and manage orders through Shopify
* Track inventory and order data
* Suggest and help implement improvements to fulfillment workflows as you learn the ropes
* Occasional support with tradeshow prep or attendance (optional, if interested)

What You Bring
* Experience with receiving stock, pick/pack fulfillment, and inventory counts
* Familiarity with Shopify (required)
* Comfort with spreadsheets
* Clear, professional written communication — you'll represent us to retail partners!
* Ability to work independently, stay organized, and keep things moving without close supervision.
* A genuine interest in food / small brands, and familiarity with our product is a big plus

Good to Know
* Schedule is flexible within Mon–Fri, built around a consistent 10–15 hrs/week
* Primarily in-person at our Kingston studio (Midtown); some duties can be done remotely with approval
* Opportunity to travel for tradeshows if you're interested
* Room to grow with the role as we scale — this person will help shape our systems, not just follow them
