Their work is inspired by the way food and memory cultivates community, using their artwork as a way to connect with their own tradition, heritage, and memories.

Mel spends their free time reading about cults, sunbathing with their dog, and sippin’ on fancy vermouths. They are a student at Handful Ceramics Studio and believe that shells are the best pasta shape.
